Enter Thought...
Imagination pulses. Deep desire spinning within fleshy thoughts. Look at the real-real; so lacking, so three-dimensional, so limited. Think. Just think - that is where the creating comes from - the lilted layers of folded matter, the slinking coils of human cognition, the enough and the more. Think and dream and want and need. Picture the best and the worst; therein lays experience. Glean lessons from both.
Take stories, take legends, take myth and doubt. Press them, keenly, among the fibers of being. Take the world's stories and see the wonder awaiting - how many verses does the human condition spill? All of them, resting just below the surface. Story waits for the thinking, the telling and the sharing.
And what do I share? What shred of consciousness dare I commit on the page? Which of these footprints might leave the strongest mark, the most upending question, the strongest tickle reminiscent of human nature?
I'll tell you what I think through my character's crackled lips. I'll show you how the world crumbles on the platform of fiction. I'll create an alternate reality just so the meat of the matter is clear. Just so truth doesn't hurt quite so bad. So that, for at least one moment, reality notices contradictions. For one second, the absurdity of the real-real shatters like the mirror it actually was -- a self-created delusion.
