We live in a society that often romanticizes death (usually without meaning to), leading to unhealthy fantasies regarding being able to choose when to die, planning it out, leaving a note. So, in this challenge, I am not asking for you to write suicide notes- instead, I am asking for you to write out what you would want to tell those you love if you were to die suddenly and unexpectedly. Write the last thing you would tell those on this Earth before you left it- whether it be short, long, funny, or sentimental. As always, tag me @dream.

I love the second person point of view because it is so universal: it could be anyone; it could even be ourselves. My challenge for you: write a piece of poetry or prose so ambiguous that the "you" could apply to anyone, everyone, or no one at all.

A lot of strange stuff goes on in our preteen years- often, when looking back, we think of ourselves as different people. Think back to when you were 12, whether that be two years or thirty years ago. Write a letter to your preteen self, giving advice, comfort, and encouragement.

As Valentine's day approaches, I have a challenge for you: write a poem that suggests love, but does not quite reach it. do not write about the idea of love; make the reader experience it and snatch it away. Leave me feeling not heartbroken, not smiling, but somewhere in between. Must have the line "not love" in there somewhere. And as always, tag me in the comments @Dream.

I know many challenges on here are "fun", but I wanted to get more serious with this one, especially considering that many (myself included) experience or have experienced some form of depression. It's almost like a taboo- you may feel uncomfortable writing about it. But just try to describe this darkness- look it in the eyes and see it for what it is, record your insights here in any form. The main complaint people have about modern poetry is that it's hard to understand, but that's what I love about it! I challenge you to write something thought-provoking and as cryptic as possible- something that makes the reader shake their head in wonder. Don't forget to tag me @Dream !

you know those "little things" that you haven't told anyone about, but you still feel guilty for? doesn't have to be your "deepest secret" or anything super personal. I've found that it really helps me to write about these things, and maybe it'll help you, too!

Make a gardener believe that weeds are important and do not deserve to be uprooted- write something from the prospective of a common weed (dandelion, etc.) Any form.

Write a controversial love letter: something that society wouldn't approve of, your family wouldn't approve of, or maybe even the other person wouldn't approve of. Think Romeo and Juliet: some type of forbidden love.
