I am with you here and now
Who cares
if you are no longer here by down
It doesn't matter if I am just a moment in your life
or your life-long real love
Who cares
if there are some scars left
What matters is today, now
Only this moment matters
only what we feel right now
and I am with you here and now
and hours pass by
and I do not care if life pass by as well
if it is with you or without
because we are like this right now
Who cares
if you are no longer here by down
It doesn't matter if I am just a moment in your life
or if I am your life-long real love
I am with you here and now
Volcanoes
I don’t have a recent picture
but will send you these lines
I usually write in prose
but these lines came out in verse
I’t because you have me upside down
way before tasting from your sweetness
thinking of you
every day
and unable to sleep
at night
You were there
before I realiezed
knocking on the door
while I awaited
for the blissful moment of gettingn to know you
let you in,
while your eyes...
your beauty
from toe to head
dazzled me, porcelain doll
clothes flew off
touching your bare body
a pleasure
warm face, boiling skin
honey taste
Couldn’t separate my eyes off your brown eyes
while you rode very far
frozen outdoors but
volcanoes erupted inside
So anxious we left the door unlocked
the air inside the room evaporated
you moaned, I sweated
frozen outdoors but
volcanoes erupted inside
Listeninng you groaning
a melody
Don’t know when will see you again
frozen outdoors but
volcanoes erupted inside
you moaned,
Not sure if will see you again
frozen outdoors but
volcanoes erupted inside
breeze
There is a fresh breeze that arrives from far away.
By the time it gets here,
it tells me Oi, hola and hello.
Some times it gets at noon
Some times it gets in the evening
Some other times it gets at night
It comes from the South East
Travels during Winter
and gets here during Summer
It starts near on ocean and near the ocean ends
It goes through the jungles,
flies with the tropical birds through the forest
and catches coffee aroma
The breeze picks mixed particles of both,
the Atlantic and the Pacific
and continue its path…
Continues through jungles,
continues through valleys
shakes the hand of my old country
goes through the mountains and deserts
until reaching me
catching the flavor of grapes
but it still smells like salt
tastes like your lips
brings samba music to my home
touches my cheeks
fills my eyes
makes me laugh
makes me dream
and whispers your name
to my ears
no longer
Everything seemed so spacious. I remember it, just as a vague dream.
Everything seems so small today. I sill hear that laughter walking down the streets. Everything is silent for me now. They no longer remember me.
I was left alone, and far away.
Whenever I return, everything seems so small.
Now some laugh, walk, live...
It’s been a long time since I am no longer here.
If I decide not to stay?
If I decide not to stay
I would go walking far away
without looking back
I would always sing songs
with my guitar on my shoulder
I would travel without fatigue
the narrow streets of the city
My wings would grow again
and no one would cut them off
I would rise up to the moon
until able to touch it
Through oceans would swim
All I would cross
stopping in islands
to submerge with mermaids
Would not look for companionship
to avoid falling as prisoner
within some heart
Yet would look for a shelter
and turn it into a home
Would let the door open
to not captivate anyone
Fall in love...
Fall in love
with poetry
don’t fall in love
with the poet
Your name could vanish
every letter with time will perish
your name would remain written
on a paper nobody would ever read
Every memory
the wind would blow
just like wind blows all words
and ignored promises
Fall in love
with poetry
don’t fall in love
with the poet
Hiding at night thieves roam
I would not steal your heart
or will cause you more tears
too much pain already have endure
Will not give more loneliness
to a good soul
shredded into pices
turned into cracks
Fall in love
with poetry
don’t fall in love
with te poet
Satiate your thirst with my lips
only when you close your eyes
satiate your bare body
only when opening your mind
If I stay is to grant you
every part of my world
If I leave is to avoid
your eyes from pour
Fall in love
with poetry
don’t fall in love
with the poet
Avoid what happen to me;
from my muse I fall prey
now I can’t get free
of thinking of five letters
A name that is no longer on ink
neither the wind will blow
but dwells tatooed
inside my shattered spirit
If I meet you face to face
If contemplating your lovely smile in a picture
makes my skin to shiver and
when hearing your name
my veins melt
If only thinking of you makes my senses collapse
and picturing your lips turns my mouth to mute, or
walking were you left your steps
burns my insights...
What would happen
if I meet you face to face?
In the bedroom of your mind
Don't ask my soul how much I idolize you
nor when I will cease of it
Don't ask, just remain silent
I get lost in your glance at me
while walking uncovered
and you admire all of me
in the bedroom of your mind
Open the window and let in
the dew coming from the sea
moistening your bare skin that
is still exhausted after the battle
perspiring sweat that radiates
your entrails, emanating
the perfume that invites delight
My coating palpitates again
Close the window, in case
your wailings are loud,
no one can hear.
Everything remains silent here,
inside, in the bedroom of your mind
where there is nobody,
but me living
