Introduction
Hello. I'm Jesse. Or am I? You see there's no way that I can prove to you who I am. That is the truly horrifying thing about cyberspace. Perhaps I'm a man. Perhaps I'm your next door neighbor. Perhaps I'm a murderer on the loose. Perhaps I'm not even a human. Perhaps I'm a highly intelligent computer program being used to demonstrate just how complex A.I. has become in the past decade. You will never know. The internet is shrouded in mystery only God can uncover. We hide behind our masks, pseudonyms, alternate selves, trying to portray to the world how we want to be viewed. Our cyberspace personalities can convey to the world the raw emotions we don't feel comfortable expressing in real life. The internet really is quite an amazing network. But along with all of its assets and conveniences and recreational value it remains clothed in terrifying mystery. As I said before, I'm Jesse: your best friend, your mortal enemy, your sole refuge, the stranger you see on the street. You will never know.
