Unknown Luck
What is luck?
The gum on the bottom of my shoe,
Or the back-stabbing friend I thought I knew?
How about spilled coffee on my dry-cleaned shirt,
Or falling face first into a pile of dirt?
Oh, can anyone explain what is this "luck"?
I can hardly make a buck.
Well, I'll ponder as I sit,
For surely, this "luck", I have not known it.
