The Emerald Challenge
Write the first chapter of your autobiography. If you already have it written, that's just fine: Post it. Thinly veiled fiction? Also just fine. Gritty and pure fiction to make us gush, well, that's fine, too. It's your story, but we want it. We also look forward to giving back to our current subscribers, and getting to know our new ones. Winner is based on likes.

You're pissed off. The job interview was flawless, you nailed it, yet you were passed over for someone less qualified who fit the look better. At the bus stop, you plop down and watch the city, and you're about to snap. A homeless guy next to you feels your mood, and tells you the funniest joke you've ever heard. What are your angry observations on the city, your thoughts, and what is the joke to enhance or brighten them? Winner is decided by likes, and will receive a crisp $10.00 -Give us the goods.

You're a broke videographer. You are a realist, completely convinced that death is merely a cessation of consciousness. No soul, no afterlife. You know what's real. Rent is also real, and you've had to resort to taking work on a ghost hunting team. Your first gig:
"A Haunted asylum," as one team member said to you in the meeting, and you had held back the laughter. But, what the hell, it pays. No one will see you, and these shows make money, and you're not wearing a monkey suit or starving. In the asylum, you go to work. It's empty, blackened, and you're just fine. But...something happens to you. Unexplained, and completey unbelievable. But, you believe now, don't you? You have to. It's followed you home. Let us in to understand what is different now. Monthly Sci-Fi Challenge for March.
There's something strange about your significant other lately... After living together for two years, you're noticing quirky, if not bizarre behavior, in speech patterns, love-making, humor... You're not a paranoid or distrusting person, but it's built up to where you quietly follow your person out the door and lag behind them on instinct. They round the corner, take a sharp left into an alley, and vanish, literally. You run to the alley, completely disbelieving this is real. As you place your hand into the threshold of the alley, it is a hand no more. You pull back, and it's just fine, still your hand. You have no choice but to follow your love into this place, wherever it leads, whatever it is that keeps them and lets them back in. Let us know what's there, but more importantly, why. Winner is decided by likes, and will receive a crisp $10.00 -Give us the tour and reason.

Monthly Fantasy Challenge for March.
Walking the beach, you're drawn to a legless man staring up at you like he knows you. You've been in a bit of neutral mood lately, not up, not down, but teetering on depression. Everything is just, well, boring. Looking at the people on the promenade: Happy couples, or loners, heads down in their phones, or the occasional mountain bike cop chasing a thief. All of it is a wisp of a fleeting nothing... When you reach down to set some change in the legless man's cup, you see it is full with coffee, and he grabs your wrist, whispering up to you, "Show us, then." When you pull free, you turn around and see nothing, no beach, no people, just a white smear. Back around and down, you see there is no legless man, either. As you look up where you once felt the promenade, your mind makes one appear, and you realize you've been either cursed or gifted to create your own reality. If you don't first think it, it simply will not exist. Bring us with you. Winner is decided by likes, and will recieve a crisp $10.00 -Make it a place to take us.

Monthly Comedy Challenge for March.
You're on the first leg of your set, and you're bombing. You know it, they know it, the club owner knows it. Up to now, you've had some heat as a rising comedian on the verge of your own Netflix show, and a rumored role in an upcoming feature film about to tie down their contracts. Your new material is so far off from your regular bits, and the audience is confused and still unsure if you're messing with them, or have lost your edge to the moneyed life. You have that one heater in your back pocket, the best of the worst jokes you've written, beyond bad taste, but so shockingly so, it will neutralize the crowd and bring them back for the shift into your signature style. Write about the panic on the stage, the crowd, the deicision to either ride out the dull wave before you, or shake it up with the joke. Bring the funny. Winner is decided by likes, and will receive a crisp $10.00 -Go big, or go on home.

You've been abducted. When they uncover your face in their compound, you're handed a knife, and instructed to hunt and kill the group of seven before daybreak. It's exactly 11 p.m. For each person you don't kill per hour, you will lose a finger, not a thumb, and if all seven are alive at dawn, then you will also lose your head. You've never been in a fight, let alone killed anyone. They want to be murdered by you, but they want you to earn your life at the same time. So much so, one of your fingers is cut off before they run. You hunt, or you die. How strong is self-preservation? Take us along. Winner is decided by likes, and will receive a crisp $10.00 -Go get them, or don't.
