Video Games
No matter what your parents do,
video games are good for you.
They teach problem solving and not to cheat,
and not to break under pressure and heat.
In conclusion, video games help you in life,
whether your stuck in one place, or fighting through strife.
(This is the second time I used the life-strife rhyme)
Magic the Gathering
I'm sitting here at my iPad, and friends will not shut up.
They are on TCGplayer, and they are talking and talking about Magic the Gathering.
They speak with such diction as "scry 2" or "lifelink" or "Silumgar."
I know what it means, but when you hear them every other second,
you want to throw yourself to the jaws of Atarka.
Oh no, it's infecting me! I don't have much time before I am lost to MTG's
thrall. So, goodby sane world.
A Wasted Life
Waiting for something to show you the way.
The years are getting shorter, can't find the time.
Depression.
You missed the starting gun.
Regret.
One day, closer to death.
Time ticking, clocks turning down.
As you run and run to catch up with the sun.
You run to catch up, but it's sinking.
The time is gone.
The dream in lost.
Eternal pain.
A wasted life.

A single chuckle
He spoke a single joke.
It’s witty sarcasm cut through the air,
and the good nature healed the wound.
A single chuckle,
and the room rang,
Laughter bouncing around the walls.
The torrential sounds died soon,
but as people left to go home, it sat
relentless in their heads.
A single joke.
Once spoke,
Forever remembered.
