Freedom

Freedom is for everyone,

Not to be forsaken,

Do not take for granted the warrior awakened,

The fighters heart full of love for all of god's creations,

Lift your hands put down your guns,

Let the world join together instead of hatred,

I am but one, but if my words can help but just one,

Then my heart will be totally elated

,

Join together instead of hate a kind and simple gesture,

A friendly nod, hold the door, a kind smile instead of scorn,

In a world filled with so much scorn you can sequester,

So lets be but one and join together yesteryear I mourn,

Tomorrow is not guaranteed nothing is for certain,

Spread good cheer not hate and greed,

End all evil war and hate just close the hatreds curtain,

Lets all live happily and everyone be freed!

Lovestory

Sometimes rain comes flooding down,

When it’s simply meant to be,

Sadness never brings the sun,

Just achy trembling grief,

I never did believe in love,

Until I saw him there,

So please forget my heartbreak now,

When you have gone away,

I loved him then and love him now,

And never will I stray,

Today my friend you are true strength,

My shadow dancing friend,

Slowly sway and swing with me,

Until love's endless bliss.

Knowledge streaming mindful gifts,

share it with all who seek to know,

but keep it safe from those who wish to waste it

Darkness

Close your eyes to darkness,

Do not let it in,

Find the spark inside your heart,

Block demons from within,

You are your only hero,

In the story that you write,

So put your pen to paper,

All the memories in sight,

Emptiness hides in every room,

It’s like a shadow’s veil,

Only love can bring the light,

In this simple fairytale,

Darkness follows me everywhere,

From it I can’t escape,

How can I get from here to there,

When monsters dance and gape.

Nightmare

Dreams of soft black nightmares,

Bring me out of hiding,

Are you going down below?

Or staying far behind me?

I’m friends with shadowed figures,

They walk in time to find thee,

I’m searching for my dream come true,

He’s fairytales unwinding,

Kings and queens they sit on high,

And watch for prince and army,

Are they coming home for good,

Or sadly never retiring,

Sadness spreads like falling leaves,

It’s deep and black and scaring,

Do not let it in your heart,

So please just keep on charging.

The Story Of A Poem

To say it mildly is wild,

To say it wildly is mild,

To say it kindly is blind,

To say it blindly is kind,

The words I write inspire,

To inspire is to write,

The story I tell is motivating,

To motivate is to tell the story,

Telling stories is the minds exit,

Exit your mind by telling stories,

Find the freedom to speak your mind,

Freedom to speak your mind is finding yourself,

Never underestimate the power of a kind word,

Kind words spread power and inspiration,

Never let anyone kill your power,

Your power will inspire ME!

Home is where your heart is,

Not where you lay your head,

Save me from the madness ’tis,

The world has so much ahead,

Travel with me back in time,

See what hidden treasures survive,

To solve the puzzle is what’s prime,

You work and work and really strive,

I click away and hide and seek,

No one knows but you and me,

A picture here so you can peak,

Time has come to set things free,

Weather tragedy or beauty to come,

Open your eyes and let it be,

You don’t have to be sad or glum,

The sun still shines and tomorrow we try for 2023.

Standing Strong

They stare with their wandering eyes,

They don’t know the pain I despise,

My scars hide the pain inside,

Thirty surgeries in and the fact there won’t be more, lies!

Fear of the blade, blood like past wars, trying.

I won't let them win or see me crying.

I stand strong, proud of my scars,

The war within, ever brewing, always trying.

Invisible illness hiding inside trying to get out,

The pain never goes away but gets worse in bouts,

EDS, POTS, others, the diagnosis such a lout,

I will not let this break me down or pout.

I am who I’m meant to be despite the pain,

I stand strong, be brave, live to sustain,

The warrior within is always just under the skin,

Take heart, be valiant and I won’t let my pain be in vain.

Music plays the celebration draws,

A party of massive jollification and entertainment,

Yell and shout with applause.
