Graceful wisps of clouds

feather in the wind

I lose myself searching

for a distant shore

drifting into shadows

of yesterday’s passion

I swim in the cusp

of your reflection

remembering

crystal turquoise souls

dancing in starlit heavens

naked rhythm stitched

into wanton sensuality

breezes stoking

fires erupting

stripping down

fervent bodies in

sultry summer night

moon tracing imagery

down my back

vast expanses

of want and need
