"Madam..?" he asked.
"Sir..??" she said with question marks.
"Are you Mad?"
"I am."
"Then take my hand— for a tour of Neverland!"
(And off the old years flew, arm in arm just the two...)

"Madam..." he further pressed.
"Sir?!" she asked.
"Are you still Mad?"
"I am."
"Then take this band— for a whirl in Disneyland!"
(And decades they waltzed, to a tune of their own sound...)

"Madam..!" he grinned aloud.
"Yes, Sir?" she laughed.
"Are you Mad?"
"Yes, yes I am!"
"Then you'll carry this Geezer— to Wonderland!"
(But they walked hand in hand, sharing a cane they'd found.)

Thank You Madness
Madness is my happy
I show myself when I’m mad
I think less
I worry less
I am me more
I love the Madness
I fell in love with Madness
I fell in love because of the Madness
It makes me happy
That’s important it me
I’m constantly searching
For happiness
It is my goal in life to be happy
I need it
The madness gives it to me
I don’t know what I would do without it
So now, I thank it
I would be a mess without it
Thank you, Madness
You’ve done so much fo me
I know many search to be rid of it
I search for the opposite
I search to be further consumed by it
I love my happy place, my Madness
I wouldn’t give it up for the world
We’re all Mad Here
“We’re all mad here,”
whispered words in my ear
resound in my head
as I lay in bed
eyes squeezed shut
twisting and turning
as the monsters crawl
beneath my sheets
pounding heart beats
maybe if I went back
down
down
down
the rabbit hole
where madness resides
where no one hides
the voices in their head,
the monsters in their bed,
the words they once said,
the tears they had bled,
maybe if we stop
hiding the madness
we’d all
be free.
xx
Madness
With all this Madness around us, how can we be sane.
This Madness we share, who is to blame?
Lunacy we share, by allowing this to be.
What happened to responsibility?
What makes you so foul, makes you so crazed.
Wake up your mind, don't be so dazed.
Look around you, see all that you love.
Fall to your knees and look above.
Let there be peace in the air.
All it takes is one person to be fair.
Let there be peace on this earth, for its the only one we have.
Stop the Madness.
Instead, use Kindness.
Mad, Me or you?
Steve was a cheapskate who lived alone in a mansion. He was such a niggard that he refused to handout candy at Halloween, saying it would cost too much money. Every evening he used to see a beggar sitting outside his house feeding a dog. Steve used to wonder why the hell is this beggar feeding dog when he doesn't have enough to feed himself. One day he went out and asked the beggar "Hey, Are you mad? Why do you feed this dog daily? You could buy something for yourself with that money instead of spending on this useless piece of shit". Beggar smiled and replied " This dog might seem useless to you but for me he is not just a dog, he is like a true friend of mine, he follows me wherever I go. He never lets me feel that I am alone but what have you got?" All this money and none to talk with. So, is it me or you who is mad?
The Curvature of Caring
Envision a dream in which you develop talents overnight. Suddenly you have the solution to everything. You understand things as nobody else does. You see a plant at a distance of fifty feet. By paying attention to the curvature of the leaves, you know it needs more water. You tell someone to water the plant. Then, you imagine studying the curvature of different species of plants to assess the curvature associated with the optimal hydration status. Why of course, the optimal hydration status will likely yield more food. Healthy food could then become cheaper if the concept is done on a large scale. So, a grand idea emerges from a minute detail. Is that mad? How can solutions to problems be mad? Or do we just let things be as they are? Is that mad? Amidst this dilemma, there is something beautiful. The very foundation of humanity shines: you care for something beyond yourself such as the plant and it's curvature. Some may say that is mad. If so, we need madness to exist for humanity’s sake.
Madness is...
Call me naïve,
I’ll accept it.
Call me insecure,
I’ll accept it.
Call me ignorant,
I’ll accept it.
But call me mad,
You’ll never understand.
Madness is the leaves falling off of the trees in autumn, only to be swept away by the wind without a trace.
Madness is the blue sky being covered with grey clouds, only to wreak havoc upon everything they touch.
Madness is the roads bustling with people who are not happy but simply pretend to be.
Madness is what I see daily.
But, madness is also how beauty is seen by one person—how it is judged.
There is never one single definition to madness. There never will be. You can see it all around you. It is yours to view.
Madness can be wonderful or destructive. It can bring a smile to a face that had nothing there. It can also take that smile away.
You choose to interpret it. I see madness in myself. The madness allows me to see into others. It is lovely.
Call me mad,
I’ll accept it.
But, you’ll never understand.
MADness
Anybody remotely interesting is mad is some way or another.
I ran out of words to make the word count 15.

Just so everyone knows, this is not original with me. This was a doctor who saying that I though fit the challenge. ❤
Yay or Nay?
Stop this Insanity,
Have you gone mad?
The men who shoot certainly have.
Eighteen schools is to big a number,
It's definitely enough to make me shudder.
I am terrified of this situation,
At this current state of our nation.
Why do we let our successors die?
Can't you hear the tragic cry?
Fathers losing daughters,
Mothers losing sons.
Trust me when I say, these thoughts weigh a ton.
When will we take a stand?
More and more small graves fill this land.
When will we rise and face the foe,
Apologize and not put on a show?
It is our turn to play,
So shall we fight,
Yay or nay?
