Cool! I Got Some Questions If you Don’t Mind.

This is pretty rad that you made this challenge. I feel that everyone here on Prose can learn a lot. So, if you don't mind, I have a few questions I would like to ask about your faith, and a few personal questions. You don't have to answer them all if you're uncomfortable with them.

ABOUT ISLAM:

1. What do you know about halal dating? And what's your personal take on it? And if a couple is committed in halal dating can they have sexual relations?

2. People tend to point out a lot of differences between Christianity and Islam, but I feel that they are more similiar than most realize. Do you feel that to be true? What similiarities do Christianity and Islam have?

3. In recent years, I've been noticing that much of western media is showing more Muslim representation ranging from movies to animation to even comics like Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel. I myself have a Muslim character in my story series named Malaika Katan, or Ms. Kat as she is sometimes called by her students. Do you feel that representation has gotten better in western media?

4. Something that's always made me curious is the dress code. Obviously some men and women wear traditional clothing where for men they cover the area from the knee to navel and for women they cover all areas except the hands and face, while others dress like how westerners dress with whatever they want like shorts and a Star Wars shirt. How do you feel about the dress code? Additionally, for those that choose to wear traditional clothing, can they choose when they wish to wear them and then wear something else on other days?

5. What was it like growing up Muslim? Did you have any struggles with your faith, and how did you come to terms accepting who you are?
