He cleared through the mud with heavy grunts and worn muscles. There had to be a resting place somewhere. He scanned through the landscape. It was foul and filthy. The entire place was just

damp.

There. In a small clearing was a large tree. Large enough to hold even a guy like him. It was rough and daggy. Barbaric, even. But he couldn't judge. He used to sleep on bricks, after all. He looked around the place. He was no monster, but whatever used to live there definitely was. He learned enough to gather an identity. One he could fit into. One to help him escape his old life. It was final. He was no longer just Ralph.

He was Shrek-it-Ralph.

Adults trying to blend in with the culture of teens clowning around...

"That seems LIT."

And the monster returns, beckoned by the horrid slang.

Adults going back to their childhood...

They thought Lit died a long time ago...

But LIT has returned.

A massive flash of white light appeared in a random abandoned mall. The flagstones were melted, while the glass windows were seared off. A man could be seen in the middle of this scorching hot mystery.

The man stands up, fully naked, looks around a bit, and goes to a nearby vermin control store. Ripping the door open, he goes inside, and puts on a pest control suit.

"It is time to exterminate some pests."

Locked inside his head

Away, with all the others,

He stood alone

And argued with the system.

Screaming at the Indian,

The nurse couldn’t see the truth.

These men were not crazy.

They were just too sane to survive in this world.

They could not destroy his mind

So they removed it.

But from behind dead eyes

His thoughts emerged:

Fuck you!
