I’d never even talked to her

just watched her from afar

but that girl she had a way of

breaking hearts and leaving scars

I am deep because

the stars collided in such a

way that I am

Permanently flawed

Permanently written.

When I fight you its because

I care.

if I didn’t, I wouldn’t be

internally crying, hoping

you read this and feel the

rawness between these lines.

Don’t venture out into my

ocean

without ripping

your chest cavity open

with your enchanting heart in

the palm of your hands.

beating…

for this…

...moment.

He smiled at me

And the moon

Illuminated a sadness

In his eyes

That his lips couldn’t speak

If I am to know him

How he thinks

How he sees

How he feels

He must admit to me

What he hasn’t yet

Afmitted to himself

I want

To take

That step

Of faith.

To be content:

If I fall,

I fall.

If I fly,

I fly.

If I land on solid ground,

I’ll know

It was worth

Taking that first step,

After all.

Castles of stone

lands far away

a fluffy lamb

a child at play

a clown’s big nose

and puffy hair

a dog, a cat

a horse, a bear

angels, fairies

a witch’s brew

cupid’s arrow

an ancient yew

the face of God

perhaps you’ll see

sky gazers

cross centuries

s e p a r a t e d

by land or sea

united by

vast mystery

imaginations unleashed

seeded and plowed

all because of a

wispy, white cloud.

Like a magician I made you appear I couldn't make us a pair. I showed you all the tricks up my sleeve even pulled a coincidence from behind your ear. I thought if I played my cards right we would see the real magic. I was so busy pulling out the sword lodged in my throat I didn't even see your disappearing act.

Do you see the mended heart I put back

Together myself?

It may looked scarred and broken,

But I assure you it still works.

It just needs a little love <3
