You know Why

We

go to space

This

planet ain't

big enough

for the both of us

Some will stay behind

You know why

Heroic names too can be lost

Grand mementos to the God(s)

go up so we'll be drawn

but Gravity is |not inescapable>

You know why we sigh

when we look to the sky

instead of scream?

Why the villain dies

in every book

and movie

every dream?

If I seem

too intense, too obvious

it's simple

See

Life

it takes a toll

on a soul

but it pays

if you do it right

Pay for my time

with your smile

your gaze

You're amazing

Be brave, but not for me.
