Get rich wagering

celebrity

with respect

Power over

empowerment

Take media coverage away

from the wars that religions wage

RIGHT NOW.

blame Jews...again

Pay money for trivial deals

YOU MADE

Fade

like a passing craze

Ye,

Speech has never been so free

If only we

can focus, if only

We can keep the streams live

so their screams don't die

If the pen is to be mightier,

then my word needs to be heavier

I must lift my voice to the sky

Every time tyranny tries

tearing into us

we grow

The pen may be mighty, but peace is slow

The sword swings doors closed

So we break walls

We relay the call

not by little tin cans

but by cables spanning oceans

We don't buy news, we pay attention

We don't fight the weak for their pen

The sword swings swiftly

bleeds our constitution

till we risk running out of ink

Freedom is never said and done

Peace is declared yet the sword swings on

harmless

like

warblers

nesting

warm

inviting

Come in

out of the cold

if you only fold

into us, we'll all

be warmer if you

only give us more

of your feathers

Wait don't go

don't be alone

Let go of self

preservation

Best is yet to come

so grab this gun

Just point it

away from

us

No, no no

lay your eggs

right here

We look

after

it.

Majority decides

Power to the people

who've been here

the whole time

We know who

history goes to

We know how

how to weave

through stories

like a mongoose

through cobras

We love

an underdog too

or an old man

asleep

at the wheel

Your kids get us

Death is better

than all this

suffering

The bill? What

purge? No, no,

The kids'll get it

We'll tell 'em

be like Jesus

be quiet. No

We can't turn

the heat on

be like Jesus

conserve energy

but come curl up

right here

on the screen

and quit your

crying

You're not really

one of us

are you?

If you let Liberals

into your economy

or man forbid, industry

they'll fuck it. Watch

It's not a pretty sight

and the "capitalists"

are fine.

They're not just along for the ride

They're building business world wide

Independent thinkers find a way, every time

So do parasites

But if you open politics

to conservatives,

they'll rape

every personal choice

out of line, in Jesus' name?

Man all-mighty!

We the people

cannot consent

Laws are meant

to keep us safe

Forget violence

Forgo crowns

Forge peace

Free trade

and make no excuse

for your existence

Truth:

If you have peace within,

you are of immense value

If you revolt with violence,

you are not the solution

I dare you to look away

from your own plate

and congratulate

Afghanistan, a

democracy

well done,

even as

the blood still runs

Can you,

with a straight face,

enjoy football

in Qatar? Celebrate

Iran's score

verses Mahsa Amini?

Winter drops

like bombs

Where once

retaliation

came before

appeasement,

be like Jesus

Catch fallout

on the other cheek

There is no embassy

large enough to empty

prisons, no amnesty

except for what is seen

like a beheading

SOLDIERS!

Your murder should mean

more than martyrs

Imagine giving dictators

what they deserve

A peaceful death

Do we cheer?

When Putin passes

naturally? Another

parasite festers

in our seats

Dare to stomp out

apologies

Turn always towards injustice

and march. We are not made free

just because we are out of reach

We are safe

so long as we

keep the peace

We are free

only if we can

Happened fast didn't it?

Right when people were rising up

telling governments to

DO...

something...

about climate

They locked down the world

We asked for it

Flipped the script like a gun

loaded and drawn

back at us. There they are!

Those are capitalists

They don't listen to science

They don't respect any of us

They don't make us money

like the rest of you lot

Honestly

Expect less of government.

Stop crying wolf to the wolves

Stop working in their dens

Refuse to do business with them

See what life is really worth

when money is an exchange of energy

instead of power

Where bad business means failure

and the truth that day is not a trading game

and if I hear one more person name

our species parasite

I'll go apeshit

We are sacred.

This is just a learning stage

These are only growing pains

We want peace and prosperity

We shall have it

once we take responsibility

In pockets across dark distance

Beacons shine past possible

on towards tomorrow

These are not metaphorical

but metaphysical uprisings

UP Risings. Rise up! like your life

is worth more to You

than to anyone else

Sew closed your pockets.

Your wealth is your business

Best palmed between rational

volitional minds

Not snagged on a picket line

Drooled over a picket sign

Not sprawled across parliament

like palm trees. Ocean spray

for the less fortunate

Who are We but they?

By the light of day We

without distrust, or urgency

spread truth, not through fear

not hatred, but honesty. Always

Before anger can reach our streets

We breathe. We speak easy. We listen.

Keep our lamps lit and our minds set

on progress. Not change, but process

from newer to better

from despair to No More

We do not dance for subsidies

We do not fold to bonds or bribery

We do not condone bad loans

We work for money.
