Submit your Work to the Prose. Press
We publish genre fiction, creative nonfiction, memoirs, poetry, and nonfiction. Every author that works with Prose. Press has a specific outcome tied to the publication of their work. When an author publishes a book with Prose. Press, we coach and help them turn their first draft manuscript into a Book they are proud of. When ready to submit a complete manuscript, follow the instructions below.
Submission Guidelines
- Required File Type: .DOC, .DOCX, or .PDF
- File Guidelines: 12pt Times New Roman; double-spaced; 1-inch margins.
- We do not accept reprints or multiple simultaneous submissions. You must own the work you are submitting
- We do not accept manuscripts with graphic violence or explicit sex (e.g., glorification of violence, pornography)
- Word count must fall between 35,000 and 85,000 (hard low and high limits). We are currently not accepting short stories, fiction collections, poetry collections, or anthologies at this time, nor collaborative works of any kind.
