Tzigane
Nomads harvesting wildflowers
The edge of a forgotten gravel road.
Sweeping strands of quilted opportunity
Cherishing their allegiance to the wind.
Wayfaring the stars
Daylight children
A rose dressed in thorns.
Roaming abandoned fields of peace
Sleeping in blankets of solace.
Lasso the rabbits for dinner
Soak up the rain for midnight
These gypsy dancers sing their life away
Just to love you the way you need.
A bubble in the sea
Sometimes, I do not see me,
like a bubble in the sea
a displacement of watery
reality- effected simultaneously
by the things I do being me
drifting in defiance of gravity
to the surface of another reality,
an altogether different kind of fluidity-
the rest ... indistinguishable from me;
not a displacement, but well and truly free.
You cannot deny
the inevitable climb
of a bubble in the sea.

Slicing
I relapsed today
As if shit weren't bad enough
I sliced my skin
I sliced my thigh
Welcomed back by
The sweet release of pain
The familiar scent of blood
The brief shining moment
Of floating.
I'm sitting here ashamed now
I cover the marks from myself
Yet my fingers keep searching
Until every welt has been caressed
Every mark bears my pain
So very lovingly
The Maggot Grows 15mm in One Week
[Investigators use maggot growth to help them identify time-of-death. I've read that the maggot grows 15mm in one week. From it's point-of-view...The Maggot Consoles]
15 millimeters ago I was invited by your departure
Rest easy, new friend, your story is safe with me
He won't be walking free - count on it
On dew-kissed leaves we lie in meshed silence
Rest easy, new friend, your story is safe with me
Damned be the dark soul who hastily discarded you here
On dew-kissed leaves we lie in meshed silence
I'm not leaving, you won't be alone
Damned be the dark soul who hastily discarded you here
He won't be walking free - count on it
I'm not leaving, you won't be alone
15 millimeters ago I was invited by your departure

Closed Eyes, Open Mind
When I close my eyes
What I see is no fault of mine
When I close my eyes
I see what I'm looking for; peace, hope, reassurance
When I close my eyes
I dream of genuine happiness
When I close my eyes
I inhale the sweet scent of Autumn
When I close my eyes
I hear the gentle caressing leaves
When I close my eyes
The sun spreads its warmth over my cold heart
When I close my eyes
I believe in better days
When I close my eyes
I hope everything will be okay
The Vast of Time
Venom seeps into the bones.
waves of ashes, crumbling stones.
thrones unmoved by times mighty hand.
all washed over by the sand.
hearing the cry's of the lost wisp by,
squeaks of mice, as old board's sigh.
towers of majesty reach for the sky.
Weeping old trees recoil there charm.
Fleets of birds sound the alarm.
Hurling Rain reaps its threads.
Thoughts of years past as the darkness spreads.
Swallowed by night.
spinning is the compass, well in sight.
Lunar Thoughts.
Cadillac fantasies,
Moonlit dreams.
Fireflies danceing,
Over wandering streams.
Radio playing,
That Johnny Cash sound.
Cigarette in hand,
No worries to be found.
All alone on a dirt road,
Just my thoughts and me.
Things become blurry..
What could this mean?
The meds wear off,
Things aren't what they seem.
With a white room this lonely,
You atleast have to dream..
