Until all the weapons

In our medical arsenal

Were unable to stop you

Wherever you'd go

You'd think that now,

Infected as I am

That I would rage and scream

And despise your very existence

But it is quite the contrary

Even as you kill me

You are still

So beautiful to me

Our relationship

But a microcosm

Of the forces of nature
