ADRENALIN
Shall we face our fears, together
Like scared kids, wondering
What is the function of our fear?
Is it not to make us grow,
Or does it only make us feel belittled?
If our fear does not make us
Stronger than we were before - when
We used to be oblivious to danger -
Then why should we suffer here
Lingering in its embrace that is suffocating
And unable to escape. Tell me
Shall we face our fears, together?
And the mirrors we have put up
To see all our faults in hundredfold
So that the world may perhaps not see it
When our courage crumbles, in the eye of arena
We are still Caesars facing the knife's kiss with dignity
Claimed by sudden death, but still with honour.
But the mirrors we have put up
Let's shatter them, together
They are only lies contorted that we told the world
When we thought we were wanted to be brave
While to win of fear, we must first embrace it
Not resisting, not running. We must be
Rabbits caught in headlights
And the calamity shall be the guiding light
To calmth when fear is beaten
And we have learned to see with new eyes
That the change we feared is the only way
That allows us to move forward
