An idea of a best possible society
Our society today has been corrupt by what people do. And I know they are people and they make mistakes, but some people make bigger mistakes that mess up the entire world. Some people hate others because of who they love. In this new society, nothing like this will happen. Welcome to Gemerald.
Gemrald is made up of all countries. It is the last remnants of good that lasted on Earth. The last remnants of people that existed after the shootings and bombings that took over the last society. The government controls all people, to make sure that none of this happens again. No one is allowed to go anywhere without special permission. And if you are suspected of something bad, you will not exist any longer. That may sound terrible, but the society needs to be protected. Strict laws are put in place to keep the people in place. The people have a eight o'clock curfew and if you are caught out, you go to jail. You are not allowed more than five people in your household. This helps stop huge gathering that can cause problems. And the biggest law is that anyone could love anyone. There is no questioning,no judgement, and no hate toward those people. Anyone of any language, religion, sexuality, skin color, or nation is welcomed here. This society is split into groups based on your language, so it would be easier for you to understand. There is no poor and no rich. Everyone is treated fairly unless you are suspected by the government of doing something terrible. Here is the story of Adam and Abel. An american couple living in this 'perfect' society. They are new here because they just found it. They survived the corrupt world and were living on their own.
Me and Adam decided it would be a great day to take a stroll in the park. We both got dressed and headed on our way. Officers were scattered everywhere. Inside buildings, on the streets, sitting on benches, and walking around. This place is terrible. I want to go back to our little home outside of here. I decided to talk to Abel and he agreed. We would have to sneak out late at night and sneak past all the officers. Not an easy task. We packed our bags and waited. We also packed a back of food to keep us going until we got back. Now, it is ten o'clock. Two hours past our curfew and we left this house. We made almost out of this place when we were spotted. We ran for it because the officers would not step foot outside their 'perfect' bubble. At last we found the edge and stepped over. Just like we thought the officers stopped and turned around. All we wanted was our home. We did not care if it was perfect. It was ours.
I was supposed to create a perfect society, but there is none. You can create perfect laws with no violence, no hate, no discrimination, but people are not going to be happy. How is something perfect with unhappy people? To me nothing is perfect and well I guess our society is home. Why change it? It is the only place you have ever known. I know the horrible things happening you would like to be gone, but they shape the world, they bring people together. That sounds terrible, but without violence and without discrimination what would bring the people together?
