Passionate Admiration 5
Passionate Admiration part 5
June 22, 2017
Guy went to bed early Friday night and was up early Saturday morning getting ready to go to Iris' apartment. Normally he was quit a calm person but this morning he was spilling coffee grounds and everything else he touched. After breakfast he decided to calm down by playing a few tunes and singing to his dogs. His dogs especially liked the tune by Patti Page because he would add a few barks!
How much is that doggie in the window?
The one with the waggly tail
How much is that doggie in the window?
I do hope that doggie's for sale
I must take a trip to California
And leave my poor sweetheart alone
If he has a dog, he won't be lonesome
And the doggie will have a good home
How much is that doggie in the window?
The one with the waggly tail
How much is that doggie in the window?
I do hope that doggie's for sale
I read in the papers there are robbers
With flashlights that shine in the dark
My love needs a doggie to protect him
And scare them away with one bark
I don't want a bunny or a kitty
I don't want a parrot that talks
I don't want a bowl of little fishies
He can't take a goldfish for a walk
How much is that doggie in the window?
The one with the waggly tail
How much is that doggie in the window?
I do hope that doggie's for sale

Soon it was time to leave so he secured the animals in their pen, picked up the bottle of Merlot and went to her apartment. Iris greeted him warmly showing him into her living room. Guy was amazed at all the neatly stacked shelves all the way to the ceiling of various birdhouses. They almost all seemed to be made of stones and other recycled materials. Guy was amazed at the intricate detailed work that was put into each house. Each had a tag of the name of the house and a price.
"Iris, these houses are amazing where did you learn this craft?"
" My great uncle Earl was a home builder and I learned by looking at the houses he built only I added some of my own design into each house."
" Uncle Earl, now was he the Earl Young who built Boulder dash? I also see some resemblances to your Pagoda House and your Owl House that looks like his work. "
" Oh, Guy you are a well-informed man because he was my great uncle. Now I want you to come into my bedroom where my work table is so you can see my newest creation I call my Loggers Bird House."
They went into her bedroom and he saw an almost replica of the tumbledown shack she had taken so many photos of almost a week ago. She had used tar paper on a cedar house but incorporated pebbles up the sides of each corner. The roof was uneven small shake made of cedar and the pebble chimney was uneven with glued mosses dripping over the edges. It was a stunning masterpiece.
" Iris you are a genius and may I be so bold to ask you why you have made your prices so low? "
" That's all I can get for them in this town. I would ask for more if I could get to more places with high traffic tourists. "
" Well I have some trusted friends that would put them in their shops and I know you could get three times what you are asking. Let me have about four and I'll box them up carefully and send them to them but please put on some new tags with your name, a web address and no price, please. They will be safe with them and you will be surprised how many people will buy an original. “Said Guy.
They agreed on the four houses. Iris noticed Guy looking at her large antique double four poster bed and wondered if he was thinking why she had such a large bed for one person. It had been her Aunt Irises bed and she loved the bed all her life and now it was hers where she slept alone.
She was thinking it would be so nice to have him with me in my bed. I really did enjoy making love to him so why can't we do it again? He looked at her and saw her mind was spinning and he asked what she was thinking.
She didn't speak but she gave an innocent sensual look and her eyes looked right at the bed. This got him rather excited and now he was thinking how nice it would be to make love in such a lovely bed, and the best part was she was a great lover.
