A LOVER’S SONG
I saw a song betwixt the rose petals
Blooming there in fragrant red
I smelled the musky scent of lust
Betwixt the sheets of our lover's bed
I felt the storm within my bosom
The rising pleasure didst steal my senses
As lightening struck me down below
& shattered all my inner defences
I'm lying open, vulnerable, exposed
Desire burns in your sun-kissed eyes
& in your touch, I hear a devilish sigh
As your hands trace lines upon my thighs
You took me higher than the bluest sky
& I lost my head among the stars
We wrote the song of passion & pleasure
The beginning of our luscious memoirs
So I see a song betwixt the rose petals
Still blooming there in fragrant red
I can smell the musky scent of lust
Betwixt the sheets of our lover's bed
