My DAY!
Today has been a crazy day. So in case you don't want to read through all the details, here is a short sentence telling you what made my day crazy: a person I met online showed up at my door today. He lives 200+ from me.
Here are the details below:
I didn't sleep last night. Well, not for most it at least. I woke up at around 7 and at 8 my mom went out to get Starbucks. I went over to pet my dog who was sitting by the window. I looked out and saw three Latino boys who looked my age holding skateboards across the street. They could obviously see me looking at them and were looking back at me. I didn't recognize any of them because they were too far away for me to identify them. I just assumed they were going to skate down the block because people tend to do that (which is really annoying and loud.) Then the tallest one in the group crossed the street and started walking up our stairs. I was freaking out cause I thought they were mad at me for looking at them. The guy then proceeded to knock the door once and stood there. I didn't answer the door because I had no clue who he was. Then my mom came back a few minutes later and started to talk to him to figure out why he was up by our door. It was only then that I recognized him as this guy I had met on this app called Anomo and had texted for a couple months. But then I got annoyed with him and blocked him on everything (which I now realize was super immature and would never do now.) Anyways, my mom had figured out that I had met him online (which she was understandably upset about because I had lied to her telling her I wasn't doing that anymore) and that he was here for a concert and had found my address through iMessage. I was really shocked so I had her tell him that I had just woken up and to text me. My family ended up deciding that I should talk to him since he had come more than 200 miles and would probably be satisfied by meeting once. So I went down to the Starbucks a couple blocks away and talked to him for an hour. It was super awkward and all I could do was space out and fidget with my cup. He walked me home but then texted me five minutes later that he forgot that he wanted to take a picture so I did that then walked back home by myself even though he offered multiple times to walk me back. My mom's overall impression of him was that he was a little dorky but a gentleman. I agree but I still don't like that he came to my house without my permission. It really freaked me out. I'm happy he lives so far away, but he knows where I live now :(
