Take it From a Living One
Close your eyes, take a deep breath and listen to me for a sec, please.
I know things seem hard right now, I know life feels like hell, and I know you've probably heard it all before, but I can promise you, with a 110% guarentee, that things will get better. It might feel like you've been dragging your feet through a never ending storm, it may feel like no one is there for you, but keep fighting, don't ever lose hope, because the harder you fall, the stronger you become when you stand up. There are countless super heroes, celebrities, and wealthy, happy people who would tell you the same thing.
Whatever it is you are suffering, whatever you are running from, I won't ask you to face it head on. In fact, keep running if you have to, but use a track not a treadmill; find a path, not a dead-end. I want you to use this next shot at life whether it be your second or sixtieth, to cope with your hardships in another way. You don't have to deal with the problem, just find an outlet for your emotions, find a temporary solution until you gain the strength to fight this depression. Video games, books, an addicting TV series, a friend, whatever it takes to make you want to wake up tomorrow, find it and take it.
Every book has a depressing chapter, every movie has a sad scene, but those moments aren't the end, they're usually the moments just before the good part. Believe in the possibility that tomorrow holds your story's good part.
