Hoarding

        Most days I walk to the little beach, ten minuets walk from this house. On the way I pass a popular hotel, down the side, past the kitchen and onto the boardwalk.  The hotel is renovating one of the blocks of rooms and has erected a tall hoarding around the 

worksite. Over a period of week three local artists covered the panels with a vibrant mural, every day I would pause to see how the work was progressing. My profile picture is one small part of this mural, I've chosen it as a place keeper, a reminder of my time here.

Part of me is sad as these panels will be removed once the renovations have been finished, but perhaps the transitory nature  of this artwork is part of its appeal. So thank you to the artists:-   Z Derrick, J Ross & A Bibby
