The void opens

A pool of the deepest black

The surface ripples

Beckoning me forward

I dip a toe into the void

Experimenting

Teh numbness is soothing

I venture further

Immersing my leg to the knee

It feels cool

Yet I feel nothing

I sit at the edge

Inching my way in

The void embraces me

And I find peace
