Why did you leave me?

Am I not enough?

You told me you loved me,

Was that just a bluff?

You left me stranded,

And all alone,

I caught you red handed,

You’re no longer my home.

She is no better,

She might be worse,

But you just let her,

Steer you off your course.

Sure she gives you things,

I would not give you,

But she will steal your wings,

If only you knew.

You are nothing to her,

And everything to me,

You left with a blur,

But that’s fine by me.

I now know why,

This has happened,

I will take to the sky,

And live unburdened.

But still I am lonely,

Without a friend,

No one to hold me,

Alone till the end.
