The Chaos Beats

I know I see

A horrid beast

Underneath

And I can’t speak

I feel it creep

A silent shriek

By the tree

And I can’t speak

Never

And as it walked upon the Earth

The beast within began to birth

Spewing out between the cracks

A beast of fire blew smoke upon the facts

I fell asleep

And now I see

A dreaded beast

In my dreams

I am yours

And I am mine

I will tear down your world

And inhabit your mind

I am the beast

Of which Void cannot speak

I am the bell

Who’s toll will now ring

I can hear you are breathing

I detect you are scared

You know I need feeding

So run if you dare

I think I’ve seen

The end of me

Can I retreat?

Never

With an ancient roar it reared it’s head

And the visions they saw

Filled them only of dread

The thing that it wanted

The thing that it got

Was to tear out our heads

And to gobble our thoughts

I can’t believe

I won’t retreat

I believe

Never

Behold my children

For I come with a gift

To become one with me

And become as a rift

My desire is simple

It is all too plain

I do not want your bodies

I want only your brain

And the beast known as Chaos

Came into being

And being as it was

Took all who were fleeing

But those who were brave

And were granted it’s trust

Became part of its life

And they shared the same lust
