Autumn Invitation

The leaves crackle beneath our feet

In the forest, a maze of rusts and umber

I feel the autum air tinged with frost

Daring us to warm ourselves in loves embrace

And delight ourselves and all our senses

Among the depths of autumns dying splendour.
