Growing

She thought she could do it

It as in life

She thought she was growing

Bigger

Better

Stronger

Yet really she was crumbling

The eating turned to walking

The crying turned to sleeping

Her body was screaming

Crying out at the misuse

Yet she thought she was healing

So she continued

Until she could not any longer

Her thoughts raced

However

One single sentence prevailed

“Why did I kill myself to grow?”
