I dream of

horses with wings

and pretty shiny things

of his lips on mine

and the delicious taste of red wine

of the mistakes I’ve made

and those eyes of jade

I dream of

that moment we shared

and that time no one cared

of the world ending

and of when you were pretending

of the monsters inside

and getting swept up in the tide
