I didn’t intend for her to find out that I lied, but of course, you can’t always get what you want. Consequently, this is how trust is broken in a matter of seconds and may take a lifetime to earn back. Sometimes, it never comes back ever, simply because the one's who are deceited never learn to trust again. In their minds, if it happens once, it's prone to happen again.
