Adamis Weaver
Dear Mr. Morningstar,
In all my years of working for this agency I never asked for anything, not even something as small as a paper clip. But, today I ask if I can transfer assignments. Normally the thought of switching assignments would never cross my mind. In the many millenia I've been working here, I've seen and delt with children of various personality types, but this one by the name "Adamis Weaver". I honestly don't believe I can keep working on them. Never before have I felt in danger at my work, with his child I've only felt fear.
Adamis is not human, physically they appear as such, but the moment their caretaker steps away. They stare at my hiding place in the shadows for about five minutes, unblinking. At first I thought this was because of a diease they have; as it turns out, that was not the case at all. When they finally look away I set myself in position to make my move, somehow they knew I was there. The whipped around and threw a knife at me, the blade having grazed my arm, as you know only enchanted weapons can hit while we are using transformative magic.
The next day, I went back to Adamis' place of residence. When I arrived I saw the caretakers dead, scattered along the hallways of the mansion. I searched for only a few minutes before finding my assigned child. They were eating a caretaker's arm as she screamed and wailed. Her leg bones were shattered, other arm was ripped off and by the look of it her spine was broken in three places. She had no chance of defending herself from this monster child. It wasn't long before Adamis finally felt my prescence, they paused from their gorging to look at me and smile.
I don't think I'll ever be able to forget the words that next came out of their mouth.
"It's rude to drop in on a person's meal, Agaxaz."
They know my true name. Somehow, they found out, I've never told anybody. Even on my birth certificate, my name was never written down for eyes to see. My name was only ever whispered to my by dying mother. There is no way they could have found out, my information is practically non-existant.
I fear for my life, they hold the only known power over me. I need to move before Adamis takes my power for their own. By their behavior I doubt I'd be the first one to- jfkdddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
"It would be best if you never finished this email," Adamis whispered into the ear of what was now Agaxaz' corpse after pulling his face away from the keyboard. The child leaned away from the high ranking demon with a board look.
"It was so much fun to play with you, I only wish you were easier to torture. Then you could have lived just a bit longer," Adamis continued. Blood crusted hair fell into their face. Their eyes grew dark, a glowing red replacing the once stormy blue irises. They punched into the dead demon's chest and ripped out the heart. Adamis licked it impatiently, a smirk growing on their face.
They took a bite of it, tasting the rare flesh of a fallen demon.
