Deep Wonders
As thoughts are undiscovered
Sentimentality knocks it’s door
And takes them for a wary spin
Only for a few moments but I soak it all in
I lay on neutral colored sheets and place covers upon my face
Questioning unmindful emotions
That lurk the mist of an unclear view
Wondering who welcomed their presence
Leaving me with the blues
Have I lost myself in mind? Am I a public disguise? Or even muddled by thoughts?
As I ponder in silence
My clarity on reality has vanished from plain sight
