I felt relief that you were working during your remission

I prayed so hard that you would live

That you would find love again, marry and have children

So much kindness did not deserve to suffer

You reached out for the last time

You lied you were not in pain to spare me

You were gone a week later

At only 30 years of age with only four ex-girlfriends to your name
