Rebirth in Black and Purple
Black and dark purple
Fade to lilac and grey
Simple, but representative
Of change
Like the rising sun
Though colors not the same
We trace the roots
Until we find
Ourselves awed
By the richness of
The soil in which
Knowing's plant grows
Not a sunrise
But perhaps the sun died
And this is merely
A rebirth
Soft purples meet amicably
With harsh blacks
And lovely greys
Chat with moody purples
Growth and shining pastel
Sunshine
A rebirth of ability
And a step
Towards an alien
Planet's
Rising
Sun
Imbued with magic
With hope
With dark shadows
Fading to smiling shades
The click of purples
And gloom of darkened mists
Mingle with smiles
That take your breath away
And the fade, the fade, the fade
Is not a rising sun
It is not the sun that rises
But the new-birthed one that does
