Some Thoughts On Dreams
Dreams, soft and intangible, existing as concrete entities in our minds, are pale and lovely when unrealized. When our goals come to a conclusion, when our hopes coalesce into a corporeal form, the edges sharpen, darkening somewhat, becoming a combination of emotions that is often harsher than you expected your magical world to look through your rose-tinted glasses. The truth is, dreams are powerful, but sometimes, we give them so much power, that they are never able to meet our expectations. When our dreams are finally realized, finally real in our own lives, we often have built them up so much that reality can never live up to our imaginations, and the dissappointment makes us wish they never had happened. Life is, I'm afraid, completely unpredictable, even in relation to who we will become, what we will need, and what we will want. Souvent, avant une moment, nous ne poulons pas sais que quelque chose est aller être.
