Spineless
Dear Saddest Poem:
Tag! Your it! I’ve done it again. Tracked down the sullenest of my rhyming literary pens. What was it that drove the ink into skin? It was soon after that then yours was found to be unreasonably thin?
No one will be laughing when your anorexic alibi doesn’t hold up under scrutiny. What was your reasoning for sidelining the mutiny? And putting an end to our suffering another tumultuous tyranny. How were your words alone able to put such an unnerving fear in me? The loss of what you barely glossed over as far as I can see. Thusly this anxiety I’m experiencing doesn’t make any sense to me. Of course there’s always fear itself to fear. But I’m still here willing to lend you an ear. To get one out of me. A sentimental tear. All the fuel this ill fated one needs to get me thru another year. Until ready or not hear. I come! Where have you ran off to now pitiful one?
Signed yours truly. THE EXUBERANCE hung
