Why do they?

To tell the time,

To share a secret,

To let you know all is okay,

To provide comfort,

To give you hope,

To whisper in your year,

So their eyes don't get dry,

Because they are tired,

Because they need sleep too,

Or to laugh like they are telling you a secret.
