Woman Of Steel
There was once a girl
So beautiful and kind
True to her mind and
True to her soul.
She grew up to be woman,
A bold woman
With nerves of steel and iron.
She was true to her land
And true to her belief,
A belief that many criticized.
She was a daring Communist
Down to her bones,
Never gave up and
Never backed down.
She was tortured and prisoned and wounded
But she never gave up her belief.
A belief that glew red,
A belief that never died,
Even when she was kicked out,
Out of her beloved party,
The party that she loved,
Loved so much that she
Gave up her love for it.
She was a shining star,
A star destined to rise.
She changed history,
Not once not twice but thrice,
Even without others by her side.
Even after the sun had set,
Her belief will never be gone,
For she shall be remembered,
Remembered till the God's own country dies.
A woman of belief,
A woman of will power,
A woman who will never be dead,
Even after her mortality ends.
There was once a woman of steel,
True to her belief,
True to her land,
Whom they called Gauriamma.
