Little Friend

He crept into my bed

While I was not aware

His spindly limbs

Spinning a web

Tickles across my

Frozen flesh as I

Deeply slept

And when I awoke

He was gone

Nothing left but the evidence

That screams to some "Beware"

But to me only says

"I am here"

My little spider friend

Coexisting in my little room

Has made his place in the

One place he cannot

Little spider,

That's my bed.
