Because others have unreasonable expectations,

Making you feel guilty

For not meeting them.

· Don’t put up

With people who don’t respect you

Or abuse you

In word or deed.

· Don’t hide your emotions

Behind painted smiles

And pleasant words

Masking what you feel.

· Don’t be the one

Saving everyone else

With no-one to turn to

And not saving yourself.

· Don’t sacrifice your life

Don’t waste your time

And don’t forget

How good you are

And don’t forget

To always be you.
