i’m a heathen; and yes, i’m aware
hi! i am agnostic and gay and trans. if any of those things bother you or go against your beliefs, please save yourself the pain and unfollow me now. yes, i'm serious. i'm tired of y'all commenting under my posts with your (2000-year-old) hot takes.
okay, now that the evangelical christians are gone, hi! greetings my fellow heathens, ex-christians, agnostics, atheists, queer friends, and allies. recently, i have noticed something that slightly frustrates me. it seems like there is a substantial population of evangelical/conservative christians who like to force themselves into every. single. conversation. has anyone else noticed that? it's just. . . sometimes it feels like the only feedback i get on my writing is "concerned" or "loving" christians telling me i'm wrong or my identity is a sin. of course, they hide it within their sickly sweet language of how compassionate and Christlike they are, but it's honestly not loving at all. It's hateful and cruel.
I apologize for ranting. It's just that I haven't felt like I can post about stuff I care about without getting at least one comment from an empathetic, concerned Christian.
Anyways, this is probably just my own trauma speaking, but please tell me if you've experienced anything like this or feel the same way.
