To Lose The Sense of Youth
To Lose the Sense of Youth,
Is to no longer see the world in vibrancy.
It’s to no longer live in the moment,
And to think about eternity.
It’s to feel a pain that stabs deep down,
And to cry silent internal tears.
It’s to lose the princesses gown and kings crown,
And feel more weight throughout the years.
It’s for a laugh to deepen,
And a smile to change,
And to loose sense of imagination.
It’s to look at the free,
And think their deranged,
Due to the existence of their lively sensations.
To Lose the Sense of youth,
Is to forget the truth,
And to fear new beginnings and final ends.
It’s to see the night sky,
And want to cry,
And to make a career out of playing pretend.
To Lose The Sense of Youth,
Is to use alcohol to soothe,
Every bad memory of what made you lose that sense.
It’s to internally die,
And not know why,
Life must continue or commence.
It’s a tragic thing,
To lose the Sense of Youth,
Because in reality it doesn’t have to happen to us all.
But it is expected,
And never protected,
For it is better that we all fall.
Don’t lose sense of youth,
For this is the truth,
The loss of it is the loss of true peace.
And if it is lost,
Regain what you can of youth,
Or try to in the least.
Remember to smile,
And to take things lightly,
And realize that it’s natural for things to end.
It’ll take a while,
And it may take miles,
But what’s broken can be mended,
To Lose Sense of Youth,
It to forget who you are,
So don’t forget or try to recall.
For it’s better to live life as a youth,
And grasp tight to the truth,
Then to never live life at all.
