Gratitude Journal For The Week of 11/8/2021
A Church I follow has an app (Crossroads Anywhere) where we journal together as a community, and one of the things we journal about are things we are thankful for. I wrote these for this week’s prompts from the app....

“What are you looking forward to this week?”
- Some extra weekend time now that a successful haunt season has concluded.
- Additional time for family, hobbies and passion projects.
- Hopefully getting some house work done on Saturday.

"What are you grateful for today?"
- Fun volleyball animes to watch with my wife on Funimation.
- A decent workday yesterday which I am hopeful will carry over into today.
- Cuddling with my wife while we sleep.

“What made you smile or laugh this week?”
- One of my Pre-K students brought in a picture that she drew for me at home. She drew a picture of me, my wife and my kids. It made my day.
- My son was making up pizza inspired lyrics to songs playing in our car on the way home yesterday. Needless to say, we ordered pizza.
- Humor from the anime Harukana Receive.

“How did someone help you this week?”
- Former students reminding me about the pros of teaching.
- My new co-teacher jumping in and doing a great job in the classroom.
- God constantly being there for me through everything.

Affirmation: “I have been uniquely designed for a purpose.”
Thank You God for being with me for another week. Thank You for a relaxing morning today - for the coffee I am going to drink, the book I am going to read, the opportunity to write this, and the down time I have today.

“In a recent book, I learned...”
In the book “Chel & Riley - The Haunted House Adventure” by Wm. Matthew Graphman, the story has themes of friendship, forgiveness, and respect. I look forward to reading more of it.
