Maybe it Would be a Mistake

What would I do if I could unfreeze time?

I think I would do a lot of things,

I for one would end all the hate that humans bring,

I would use my power to bring some joy to those who need it,

And use it on others as I see fit.

I'm not perfect,

So I won't say that I would use it all for good,

I might use it for all the tricks on my brother that could be pulled,

Or even use it for a livelihood.

But yet,

Would it perhaps be a mistake,

If anyone could break the wonderful thing we know as time?

Time is there to help us enjoy the things we know,

To keep our lives just perfect,

If we extend it, bad things could happen,

Or even someone else had the power,

What if it stopped altogether?
