Seasonal Showings

Winter dances around with the Cold and Wind

though he knows that his time is coming to an end.

And so he picks up speed.

Soon he flies

gracefully

Past the sky,

not to be seen for another year.

Spring pokes her head out

tentatively,

Unsure of whether Winter had run his course

and not wanting to interrupt him.

She smiles once she figures

that it is her turn,

and she begins.

Flowers start to bloom,

and the freezing water begins to warm.

The grass is beautifully verdant,

and Day stays around for longer.

Birds call out to each other,

Seeds are planted,

Trees are coated with leaves

once

more.

And we know that a new season has begun.
