Too much machine
Wow what a word
Take out the wheel
We’re back in the stone
It’s just terrible to feel
But the wheel is too real to feel
And won’t be gone soon
Get your horse and plough
We’re ready, September to June
We got too slow, take out the steam
No train will get far to any terrain
We carry the goods as far as the eyes can see
And every spot is for us to reign
Put the power in the hours
The gunpowder just doesn’t do the trick
We need to kill faster and be safe
Push it all into a finger’s tick
We washed the blood away with a hose
After we nuked it all to hell
We turned our heads in a semi-apology
We meant no harm, we meant well
Then put it in space and make it civilian
Tell everyone to look up at the sky
And spread the word no one’s heard
And hide in plain sight
Then wake one morning, and find
The link, hashtag, post, insta all gone
Go crazy as you busy your mind
With what to do with a blue sky and the sun.
