Gratitude Journal For The Week of 3/29/2022
A Church I follow has an app (Crossroads Anywhere) where we journal together as a community, and one of the things we journal about are things we are thankful for. I wrote these for this week's prompts from the app....

"What are you looking forward to this week?"
- Writing chapters for two collaborative projects I'm involved with on theprose.com.
- Spending time with my wife and kids.
- Working on strengthening my bond with God.
- Enjoying new books and games, and also enjoying books and games from my backlog.

"What are you grateful for today?"
- The opportunity to catch up on some reading.
- Ideas for stories buzzing in my head.
- The sleep I'm about to enjoy.

"What made you smile or laugh this week?"
- Doing impressions with my son last night.
- Making a graham cracker box talk to my students yesterday.
- A former student asking me to do voice requests.

"How did someone help you this week?"
- Leaders for writing collaborations being flexible while I'm dealing with illness.
- Artists of all kinds entertaining me with their work.
- The library having the option to borrow games that I can try out before buying them someday.

Affirmation: "I trust God."
"Is there anything you would like to thank God for this week?"
Thank You Lord for the negative Covid test yesterday morning, for helping me get through the work day when I wasn't feeling 100%, for some down time over the next few days to recover, and for some time for hobbies like reading, writing and gaming.
