Gratitude Journal For The Week of 4/4/2022
A Church I follow has an app (Crossroads Anywhere) where we journal together as a community, and one of the things we journal about are things we are thankful for. I wrote these for this week's prompts from the app....

"What are you looking forward to this week?"
- Continuing to recover from the rough head cold I had last week.
- Continuing to catch up on Lent reading plans I fell behind on, and working on spending more time in Bible/Devotional reading.
- Reviving a flash fiction fantasy book series I have been writing that has been on hiatus.
- Bonding with my family.

"What are you grateful for today?"
Snooze alarms, including the silly one I recorded on my daughter's phone :-)

"What made you smile or laugh this week?"
- Watching "Is It Cake?" with my family.
- Doing my signature Pigeon voice (Mo Willems) for my students per their requests.
- My son's Mario puppet he made in acting class.

"How did someone help you this week?"
Watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force with my sons has been a fun stress relieving evening routine, and has also been reminding me of my college days watching it on Sunday nights when it first debuted.

Affirmation: "I am loved by God."
"Is there anything you would like to thank God for this week?"
Thank You Lord for morning cuddles with my wife, a day off today, fun entertainment to look forward to, and a serving opportunity on Sunday.

"Think of a special experience...."
I enjoyed watching "Is It Cake?" on Netflix with my wife (and our kids too when they joined us). The bakers were talented, the judges were fun, the host was hillarious, and it was nice watching a competition where the contestants were building each other up throughout. It's work a viewing :-)
